Arthur Villemaire, Jr.

Arthur H. Villemaire, Jr. of Salem, NH, formerly of Wakefield died on Tuesday April 19 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

Born in Cambridge on October 6, 1943 he was the son of the late Arthur H. and Agnes (Doucette) Villemaire.

Mr. Villemaire was a graduate of Cambridge High and Latin. He was an electroplater for TRW in Cambridge before his retirement.

Mr. Villemaire was a longtime resident of Wakefield before moving to New Hampshire. He was a loving and devoted grandfather.

Mr. Villemaire was the husband of Helen T. (Keating) Villemaire. He was the father of Linda Satkwich and her husband Peter of Windham, NH, Lisa Gorski and her husband Michael of Sandown, NH, Arthur H. Villemaire III of North Andover and James Villemaire of Salem, NH. He was the brother of Paul Villemaire of NH, George Villemaire of Somerville, Sheila Meehan of CA, Lorraine Russell of Cambridge, Deborah Villemaire of FL and the late William, Ronald and Dianna Villemaire. He was the loving grandfather of Lauren and Tayla Satkwich and Emily and Nicholas Gorski.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 11:30 a.m. A period of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
