Abigail Fraser

Abigail "Jean" Fraser , 82, of Burlington formerly of Stoneham, died on Thursday, June 23 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.

Born in Somerville on September 28, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Elizabeth Fraser .

Ms. Fraser was a graduate of St. Patrick High School in Stoneham. She was with Sisters of Providence in Indiana "Sister Elizabeth Joseph" for 25 years. After the convent she worked as a receptionist for Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.

Ms. Fraser is survived by her two sisters; Ann Ambrose of Ayer and Elizabeth Foskitt of Auburn, NH, her three brothers; Hugh Fraser and his wife Janet of Stoneham, John Fraser and his wife Ruby of Reading, Alexander Fraser and his wife Carol of Burlington and her sister-in-law Eleanor Fraser of Andover. She was the aunt of Anjall and Alicia Bharduaj of Reading and many other nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Ms. Fraser was predeceased by her brother Joseph Fraser .

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St, Stoneham on Tuesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St, Stoneham at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends at the Funeral Home on Monday from 4-8p.m.
