Adele Renna

Adele Renna , 97, of Lynnfield formerly of Queens, New York died on Tuesday, January 8 at the Sunrise Assisted Living in Lynnfield.

Born in Naples, Italy on August 1, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Pericles and Laura (Guida) Mannerini.

Ms. Renna was raised in Queens, New York and had attended James Monroe High School in the Bronx and for a short time, attended Hunter College. She was a retired office Manager for Richard Ulin, M.D. in Queens. She had been a Lynnfield resident since 2011. Ms. Renna was a member of the Global Travelers. She was a blonde haired, green eyed beauty who enjoyed dancing and taking her grandchildren to travel around the world.

She was the loving mother of Laura A. Kelly of Lynnfield & Thomas Renna of TN., beloved grandmother of Jennifer King, Scott Kelly, Brandon Kelly, Lauren Howie & Marissa Renna and great grandmother of Jordan, Brianna, Madelyn, Jenna, Sophie, Megan & Tabatha. Ms. Renna was predeceased by her sister Santa Ienna.

Her Funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Wednesday Jan. 23 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Maria Goretti Church 112 Chestnut St. Lynnfield at 10:00. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation for relatives & friends will be held at the Funeral Home Tuesday Jan. 22 from 4-7pm.
