Adeline Fecteau

Adeline M. Fecteau, 79, of Lynnfield, formerly of Wakefield, died Friday, January 7 at the Wingate at Belvidere in Lowell.

Born in Redlands, CA she was the daughter of the late John and Gloria (Agostino) Ponte.

Mrs. Fecteau had been a Lynnfield resident since 2003. She was a retired assembler for the former American Switch Corporation in Wakefield. Mrs. Fecteau was a long time member of St. Florence Parish in Wakefield and was also a member for the church choir. She was a member of the Wakefield Senior Center. Mrs. Fecteau loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was the wife of the late Daniel G. Fecteau. Mrs. Fecteau is survived by her six children; Linda Lancelotte of Sailsbury, John Fecteau of Stevensville, MT, Paul Fecteau of Ossipee, NH, Dana Fecteau of Haverhill, Thomas Fecteau of Chelmsford and Brenda Calcavecchia-Fecteau of Dracut and her sister Diolinda Lewis of Lynnfield. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and her 4 great grandchildren. Mrs. Fecteau was predeceased by her sister Rose Marie McCormack.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Thursday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave, Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 pm. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, MA Chapter, 495 Old Connecticut Path, Framingham, MA 01701.
