Adeline F. Goyette, 76 a lifelong resident of Wakefield died Saturday July 6, at the Epoch Senior Health Care in Melrose.
Born in Wakefield, December 26, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Lillian (Tierney) Jay.
Adeline was a graduate of Wakefield High School. She enjoyed Horse Racing and taking walks on the beach. She was retired from Metal Crafters where she worked as a Metal Fabricator.
Adeline is survived by her 3 children; Deborah Nickerson of Saugus, Gail Quigley and her husband David of Wakefield, and Raymond Goyette, Jr. and his wife Doreen of Danville, NH. She was the sister of the late Helen Mullaney, Leslie, Irving, Harold, Richard, Raymond, and Carl Jay, and Paul Beloff. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren; Thomas, Jeffrey, Tracy, Matt, Stephen, Sarah, Kimberly, Danielle, and Nickolas, and 6 great grandchildren; Kaleigh, Adrianna, Zachary, Thomas, Bailey, and Carissa.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be private.
