Agnes T. Carbone, 80, of Lynnfield, passed away at the Kaplan Hospice House in Danvers on Wednesday, February 3.
Born in Malden on December 22, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Theresa (Birkenmaier) Smith.
Mrs. Carbone was a graduate of Everett High School, class of 19 48 and had been a Lynnfield resident since 1965. Agnes was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Lynnfield and had worked as bookkeeper for Paul Gerry and Associates in Boston. She was also a member of the Lynnfield Art Guild and the Salt Box Gallery.
Mrs. Carbone was the wife of the late Nicholas Carbone. She was the mother of John Carbone and his wife Ann of W. Roxbury, Carolyn Carbone of Lynnfield, Karen Veale and her husband Patrick of Haverhill and Stephen Carbone and his wife Jessica of Stowe, VT. She was the sister of Lorraine Vetrano of Wakefield, and Florence Chanley of NC. Agnes is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass which will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, located on the corners of Salem and Grove St. in Lynnfield on Monday at 10 a.m. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Libert St., Danvers, MA 01923.
