Agnes DeBenedictis

Agnes T . DeBenedictis , 92, a life long Wakefield resident died on Saturday, November 19 at the Blair House in Tewksbury.

Born in Wakefield on December 4, 1918 she was the daughter of the late Sabatino and Maria (Degliaugelli) DelRossi.

Mrs. DeBenedictis was educated in Wakefield School System. She was a retired seamstress for Adrian's Fabrics in Wakefield. Agnes was a devoted and dedicated member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Wakefield. She was a member of the Church Guild and a Eucharistic Minister at the Church. Mrs. DeBenedictis was a creative homemaker and was noted for her outstanding cooking skills, sewing and arts and crafts.

She was the wife of the late Dante DeBenedictis . Mrs. DeBenedictis was the devoted mother of Kenneth L. DeBenedictis and his wife Susan of Andover, Janet A. DeBenedictis and Linda M. Sorrentino and her husband Frank all of Needham, loving sister of Yolanda Pyburn of Peabody and Alvin DelRossi of Virginia, cherished grandmother of Kenneth W. DeBenedictis , Thomas D. DeBenedictis , Andrew J. DeBenedictis , Joseph P. Sorrentino and Maria A. Montanez and beloved great grandmother of Aaron and Eliana DeBenedictis . Agnes was predeceased by her brothers; Serafino DelRossi, Masameno DelRossi, John DelRossi and Domenic DelRossi, her twin sister Stella Parker and her sister Josephine Confalone

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Tuesday from 4-8pm. Her funeral will be held from Funeral Home on Wednesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1155 Main St, Wakefield at 10am. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dutton Family Care Center 1117 Main St, Wakefield, MA 01880 or to the Blaire House of Tewksbury, 10 Erlin Terr, Tewksbury, MA 01876.
