Alan Dingle

Alan D . Dingle , 63 of Wakefield died Friday, January 30 in Tewksbury. Born in Melrose on February 16, 1951 he was the son of the late Norman A. and Margaret (Cundy) Dingle .

Alan was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1969; he then graduated from Boston State College in 1973. Alan was a member and Past President of the West Side Social Club and was also a member of St. Joseph Church and had worked as a Sales Representative for the Burroughs Corporation many years ago.

Alan was the brother of Robert Cunningham, Lynne Cunningham, and Gail Giles all of Florida, Diane DiTonno of Danvers, Norman Dingle of No. Reading, Mark Dingle of Wakefield, Joanne Dingle , and the late Susan Roberson and Elaine Scott. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3 to 7pm.
