Albert M. Marzino, age 91, of Stoneham formerly of Medford, died Wednesday June 13 at The Brentwood Rehabilitation Center in Danvers.
Born in Medford on August 2, 1926 he was the son of the late Mario and Marie (Margiotto) Marzino.
Mr. Marzino was raised in Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1943. Shortly thereafter, he enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served during World War II. He was the owner of Marzino Brother's Plaster in Medford and had been a Stoneham resident for 57 years.
He was the beloved husband of the late Josephine (Vita) Marzino. He was the loving father of Mario Marzino and his wife Janet of Stoneham, Mary Ann Pollinger of Bourne, Eileen Zwicker of North Reading, Frederick Marzino of Reading, and Donna Riordan of Epping, NH. He was the brother of the late Richard Marzino, Mary Galante, and Jane Arena. He is also survived by his three grandchildren; Audra Gargano, James Riordan and Tracy Dion and his two great grandchildren; Dillion & Faith Gargano
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Francis of the Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway, W., in Medford on Saturday at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield prior to the mass from 8:30-9:30am. Interment, Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
