Alfred Durso

Alfred A . Durso , a longtime Stoneham resident died on Tuesday, November 25, in Melrose. He was born and raised in Malden and was the son of the late Peter and Elsie (Pellegrino) Durso .

Alfred was the beloved husband of Eleanor M. (DiDonato) Durso . He was the loving father of Stephen A . and his late wife Cheryl of Whitinsville, Gary P. and his wife Donna of Nashua, NH., and Peter F. and his wife Maryellen of Derry, NH. He was the brother of Rene Brophy of Melrose and the late Nicholas and Carmen Durso . He was the grandfather of Gary, Jr., Amanda, Mark and his wife Kerry, and Meagan Durso , and the great grandfather of Jack Peter.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Friday 8:30-9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10am. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
