Alice Laffert

Alice M. Laffert, 87, of Lynnfield, died on Wednesday, December 16 at the NSMC Union Hospital in Lynn.

Born in Boston on December 31, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Louis and Teresa (McKay) Hartnett.

Mrs. Laffert was raised in Boston and Somerville and was a graduate of St. Clements High School in Somerville, class of 1939. She was a retired Secretary for Arthur D. Little. She had been a Lynnfield resident since 1966 and was a member of Our Lady of Assumption parish in Lynnfield.

Mrs. Laffert was the wife of Frederick W. Laffert. She was the mother of Maryanne T. Laffert and her husband Joshua Kessler of NJ and grandmother of Melody Kessler. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in the Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Corner of Grove and Salem Streets, Lynnfield at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Interment will be at Willow Cemetery in Lynnfield.
