Alice Landers

Alice R . Landers , 88, of East Haven, CT, formerly of Wakefield, died on Friday August 7 at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford, CT.

Born in Boston on January 23, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Joyce) McNealy.

Mrs. Landers was a graduate of the Jeremiah Burke High School in Roxbury. She had been a Wakefield resident for 60 years before moving to Connecticut and was a former member of St. Florence parish in Wakefield.

Mrs. Landers was the wife of the late James R . Landers . She is survived by her son James P. Landers and his wife Carole of E. Haven, CT, her brother Paul McNealy of Augusta, GA and two sisters, Mary Kilduff of Braintree and Dorothy Booker of Augusta, GA. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Sean and Kerry Landers and Matthew Langan and her great grandson Matthew Sean Langan. Mrs. Landers was predeceased by her daughter Dorothy Langan and brother Joseph McNealy.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Florence Church, 47, Butler Ave., Wakefield, on Friday at 10am. Relatives and friends may call at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield, prior to the mass starting at 9am. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.
