Allen Pike

Allen M . Pike , 70, of Wakefield died on Monday, Oct. 13 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born in Everett on February 1, 1938, he was the son of the late Mark and Catherine (Voss) Pike .

Mr. Pike was a graduate of Revere High School and had also attended Suffolk University. He was a longtime Bartender at the Fernwood Restaurant in Revere and the 99 Restaurants.

Mr. Pike had been a Wakefield resident since 1975 and was a member of St. Florence Church in Wakefield.

He was the husband of Bernadette L. (Baird) Pike . Father of Allen M . Pike , Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Kingston, NH, Wayne Pike of Stratford, NH, Raymond Pike and his wife Carrie of Raymond NH. Stepfather of Michael J. Costa of Wakefield. Grandfather of Jennifer, Allen III, Robert and Catherine Pike and brother of the late Donald J. Pike .

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Thursday at 10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St. Wakefield at 11 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
