Alyce F. LeFort, 88, of Lynnfield died on Wednesday, June 8 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
Born in Cambridge on November 30, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine (McDonough) Sullivan.
Mrs. LeFort was a graduate of St. John's High School in Cambridge, Class of 1940. She had worked as a buyer for Jordan Marsh and had also worked as a secretary at Dr. Ohrenberg in Dorchester. Mrs. LeFort was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Lynnfield.
She is survived by her husband John F. Lefort with whom she shared 62 years of marriage, her two sisters; Florence Gazzaniga of CA and Ann MacDonald of Upton. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Mrs. LeFort was predeceased by her brother John Sullivan and her four sisters; Katherine Connerty, Helen Sullivan, Irene Bagley and Pauline Gardner.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Monday at 9am followed by Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, corner of Salem and Grove Sts., at 10 o'clock in Lynnfield. Visitation for relatives and friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday 1-4pm. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
