Amy M. Kelleher , 73 a longtime resident of Lynnfield died Tuesday April 29, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
Born in Chelsea, August 29, 1940 she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Kupczewski) Iwanicki.
Amy was raised in Chelsea. She was a graduate of Chelsea High School and Chelsea Memorial Hospital School of Nursing where she became a Registered Nurse. She returned to school after raising her children and earned her graduate degree from Salem State College. After her career in Nursing she worked in retail at Eileen Fisher in Burlington. Amy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Amy was the mother of Lisa DeGeorge and her husband Dwight of Lynnfield, Jacqueline Kelleher of Lynnfield and Jay Kelleher and his wife Therese of Swampscott. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, Zoe, D.J., Cameron, Mia, Samantha, Lisa, Madeleine, Anna Maxine, Linnea, and Tristan. She was preceded in death by her 2 sisters; Monica McCarthy, and Patricia Iwanicki.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St., Lynnfield at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
Interment, Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
