Amy Winstanley

Amy M . Winstanley , 87, a longtime resident of Wakefield died Tuesday October 16, at the Life Care Center of Stoneham.

Born in Medford on July 30, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Albert and Katherine (Ross) Kroon.

Amy was raised in Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School class of 1943. She was a member of the Wakefield-Lynnfield Methodist Church. She worked as a volunteer for the American Red Cross.


Amy was the wife of the late Donald J.Winstanley who died in 1963. She was the mother of Alan A. Winstanley and his wife Rachel of Lynnfield, Keith D. Winstanley and his wife Susan of Uxbridge. She is also survived by her granddaughter Caitlyn Winstanley .

A Funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 11 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
