Angela Keane

Angela S. Keane , age 65 of Wakefield died Saturday March 5 at her home.

Born in Everett, MA on July 9, 1945 the daughter of the late Vincent & Assunta (DeLelle) Ragucci.

Mrs. Keane was raised in Everett, graduated from Everett High School class of 1963 and went on to attend Northeastern University. She had been a resident of Wakefield since 1968 and had worked for the Longwood Travel Company of Wilmington. Angela had been both a member and past president of the Wilmington Rotary Club. She served as club president in 1998-99 and was also honored by her club by being named a Paul Harris Fellow. She had also been an active member of Business Networking, Inc.

Mrs. Keane was the wife of James V. Keane . She was the mother of James P. Keane of Arlington and Gina A. Fiore and her husband Glenn of Reading. Angela is survived by her brother Vincent J. Ragucci, Jr. of Everett and her precious granddaughter Lauren Fiore.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave Wakefield on Wednesday at 10:00 followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St. at 11 o'clock. A period of visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 – 8 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, ATTN: DFMC, 10 Brookline Pl, Boston, MA 02445 or to the VNA of Middlesex-East & Visiting Nurse Hospice, 607 North Ave. Suite 17, Wakefield, MA 01880.

Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.
