Angelina R. O'Connor DeMarco, 88, of Margate, FL, formerly of Wakefield, MA and North Reading, MA died on Saturday, March 17 at her home.
Born in Somerville, MA on February 27, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Frank and Carmina (Strozza) Urro.
Angelina was raised in Somerville, MA and was a graduate of Somerville High School, Class of 1942. She was a member of the 200 Club in Melrose, MA and also the Senior Drop- in Center of Wakefield, MA. Angelina was always involved with volunteering for the elderly and also enjoyed spending time with her family.
Angelina was the wife of the late Joseph E. O'Connor and Robert A. DeMarco. She was the mother of Joseph J. O'Connor and his wife Patricia of Wakefield, MA, Lynda Uva and husband Albert of Ft. Myers, FL, Mary Meehan and late husband Thomas of Tewksbury, MA, and Patricia Neth of Lowell, MA. She was the sister of Joseph Urro of Billerica, MA, Eleanor Lamey of Lynnfield, MA, Mary Musto of Stoneham, MA, and the late Vincenza Spinale, and Ralph Urro. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and her companion Santo Gemellaro of Margate, FL.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham, MA, on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be private.
