Angelina M. Pastorello, 103, of Tewksbury and a former longtime resident of Wakefield, died Thursday, September 26 at the Emeritus of Tewksbury.
Born in East Boston on February 4, 1910 she was the daughter of the late Frank and Marie (Miressi) Salerno.
Mrs. Pastorello lived in Wakefield for over 50 years. She was a member of the Most Blessed Sacrament parish in Wakefield. She enjoyed painting and was a wonderful cook.
Mrs. Pastorello was the wife of the late Charles S. Pastorello who had operated Albert's Beauty Salon in the Auburndale section of Newton for many years. She was the mother of Charles F. Pastorello and his wife Genevieve of Saugus, Grace Moran and her husband Kirk of Wakefield, Jean Coakley of Windham, NH and the late Elaine Papazian. She was the sister of the late Albert Salerno, Mary Cirillo, Frances LoConte , Jean DiSilvestro and Josephine Ventola. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 10 o'clock. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
