Angelina Cassara

Angelina R . Cassara , 91 of Haverhill and a former Stoneham resident died December 22 in Burlington. Born December 3, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Pietro & Maria (Messina) Palermo. Mrs. Cassara was raised in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School. She was a long time hairdresser and operated Cassara Coiffures of Stoneham for many years.

Mrs. Cassara was the wife of the late Carmelo Cassara . She is survived by her son of Thomas C. Cassara and his wife Carla of Contoocook, NH her two daughters Linda P. Simonelli of Haverhill and Anne Nuccio and her family of Billerica. She is also survived by her grandsons, John & Anthony Simonelli.

A Memorial Service will be held in the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home 322 Main St. Stoneham of Saturday January 7 at 11:00. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
