Ann Gallagher

Ann Kathleen Gallagher , 68, of Stoneham, died Sunday, November 29 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Winchester on August 20, 1947 she was the daughter of the late Frank and Jane (Mauriello) Gallagher .

Ann was a graduate of Marycliff Academy where she had been president of her Senior Class. She went on to receive her undergraduate degree from Boston College and her Master's Degree from Northeastern University. Ann spent 35 years as an educator in the Lawrence system.

Ann was the wife of the late Terence R. Tolson. She is survived by her daughter Billie-Ann Gallagher and granddaughter Paige Dell'Arciprete, both of Stoneham; her sister Gael Gallagher of Pacific Grove, CA, her uncle David Mauriello of Ogunquit, ME, her nephew William Clayton Gallagher and her great-niece Mariah Gallagher , both of Tiller, OR. She is predeceased by her brother, Frank "Scoop" Gallagher and many aunt and uncles. Well-known and well-loved, Ann leaves behind many friends she considered family.

Funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham on Saturday at 10am. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham prior to the funeral beginning at 8:30am. Interment will be private.
