Ann Hughes

Ann L . Hughes , 97, of Belchertown, formerly of Wakefield, died March 12, 2017 at the Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer, MA.

Ann was born on March 2, 1920 in Everett, MA to the late John and Anna (Greene) Hughes .

Ann was raised in Everett and a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School in Revere. She retired as an office manager for Cahill Designs of Boston. She had been a member of St. Joseph Church and enjoyed Bingo and traveling to Ireland.

Ann was the beloved sister of the late Mary A. Fayle. She was the aunt of Stephen Fayle and his wife Sheila. She was the great-aunt of Marc Fayle and his wife Chrissy, and Brendan Fayle.

Her Funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10am. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visitation for relatives and friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-7pm.
