Ann Rice

Ann T . Rice , age 70 of Stoneham, formerly of Melrose died Tuesday, August 4th in Melrose, MA. She was born in Boston on December 21, 1944 and was the daughter of the late William J. and Edna (Driscoll) Folger. Mrs. Rice was raised in Melrose and was a graduate of Melrose High School. She had been a long time Stoneham resident and member of St. Patrick Parish. She was retired from the John Hancock Life Insurance Company where she had worked for many years as a Policy Administrator.

Mrs. Rice was the beloved wife of the late Maurice "Jim" Rice . She was the sister of Peter Folger, Thomas Folger and Eileen Folger-Dineen and the aunt of Abby, Kathleen and Daniel Folger. She was also the step-mother of Kathleen Craven and Joan Marie Santos.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham on Friday, August 7 at 10:00am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham prior to the Mass beginning at 9:00am. Interment will be private.
