Ann Sarno

Ann L. Sarno of Wakefield, age 91 died Monday, July 20 in Derry, NH. She was born in Stoneham on July 15, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Camille and Jessie (Gargana) Berardi. Mrs. Sarno was raised in Stoneham and Malden. She had been a longtime Wakefield resident and had worked for the former Russell Badge Company of Wakefield.

She was the beloved wife of Julio Sarno. She was the loving mother of Elaine Bailey of Auburn, NH; Joseph Sarno of Weare, NH; Carol Nestor of Londonderry, NH and Anthony Sarno of Derry, NH. She was the sister of Dina Fodi and is predeceased by her brothers Joseph and Daniel Berardi and her sisters Rose and Phyllis. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Ann's funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield on Saturday, July 25 at 10:00. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
