LUCIBELLO, Anthony "Tony" recently of Wilmington, MA, who raised his family in Tewksbury, MA, formerly of Wakefield, MA, passed away on February 27, 2022. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend Karen (Hobbs) of 34 years and his loving children Danielle and Anthony. He was predeceased by his cherished daughters, Christina and Nicole. He was 58 years old.
Tony was born on June 19, 1963 in Boston, MA and was the son of Paula Bellofatto and her husband Louis of DelRay, FL and Anthony F. Lucibello who died in 2007 and his surviving lifelong companion, Joyce Beltram of Salem, MA.
Tony grew up in Wakefield, MA where he attended Wakefield High School. Shortly thereafter, he began his long 35+ year career as a grader operator for paving. He was known for his love of coaching sports and involvement with Tewksbury Youth Baseball, as well as playing golf, and cooking for his family and friends. One of his favorite things to do with his family was watching fireworks, especially on the 4th of July.
He was the brother of Deidre "Dodie" Runge and her husband Keith of Milton, NH, Andrew "Andy" Lucibello and Kimberly of North Andover, MA, Amy Colucciello and her husband Robert of Danvers, MA, and April Grasso and her husband Vincent of North Andover, MA. He is loved dearly and will be missed by his aunt, Virginia Ruggiero of Swampscott, MA, his sister-in-law, Laurie Lucibello of North Andover, MA, and many nieces and nephews including three grand nephews.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Sunday, March 13 from 1-4pm. His Funeral Service will be private.
