Antonio A. Pandolfo of Lynnfield formerly Revere, died Wednesday, December 28 at the Youville Hospital in Cambridge.
Born in Boston on January 25, 1920 he was the son of the late Joseph and Palmina (Caggiano) Pandolfo.
Mr. Pandolfo was a graduate of Boston English High School and later a graduate of Mass College of Pharmacy. He served in the Army during WWII. He was the owner of Pandolfo Pharmacy in Revere and was a member of the Mass Pharmacists Association. Mr. Pandolfo was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church and had been a Lynnfield resident for 23 years.
Mr. Pandolfo was the husband of the late Carmela (Roccuzzo) Pandolfo. He was the father of Pamela Halpern and her husband Michael and Dr. Josephine Pandolfo and her husband Dr. Spiro Saati all of Lynnfield. He was the brother of Angelo Pandolfo of W. Yarmouth, Natalie Barbadoro of Braintree, Jennie Palmieri of Milton, and the late Rose Angelo, Frank Pandolfo, and Vincenza Tangherlini. Grandfather of Joseph Halpern and wife Michelle, Cara Goldberg and husband Andrew, and Anthony Halpern and wife Katelyn. Also, the great-grandfather of Samuel Joseph Halpern.
His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday at 9am followed by a funeral mass at St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St., Lynnfield at 10 o'clock. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8pm. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
