Ardis Curran-Lavoie

Ardis Curran-Lavoie age 96 of Windham, NH and formerly of Wakefield died July 1 in Windham, NH. She was born in Stoneham, MA on July 4, 1920 and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Edna (Van Vorst) Robinson. Ardis was well known member of the community of Wakefield and an active member of St. Florence Church.

She was the beloved wife of the late John Curran and Joseph Lavoie. She was the loving mother of Patricia O'Brien of ME, Gerald A. Curran and his wife Marie of NH, Edward Curran and his wife Kathy of GA, Linda Rea and her husband James of NH, Paul Curran and his wife Lorraine of Wakefield, Kevin Curran and his wife Cheri of NH and the late John and Daniel Curran. She was the sister of the late Myrna Robinson. She is also survived by her 23 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.

Her Funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield Thursday at 10:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Florence Church 47 Butler Ave. Wakefield at 11:30. Interment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8 pm.
