Arthur Staples

Arthur B . Staples of Lynnfield, long time resident died Friday August 1 at age 99. Born in Lynn, MA on November 18, 1908 he was the son of the late Lotan N. & Louella May (Wood) Staples . Mr. Staples was a raised in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School . He later joined the General Electric Company in Lynn as an apprentice and went on to work in the Medium Steam Turbine Division until his retirement in 1973.

Mr. Staples was the husband of the late Dorothy H. (Ward). He is survived by his two sons, Arthur B . Staples , Jr. of Naples, FL and Bruce A. Staples of Ventura, CA . He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Forest Hill Cemetery, Forest Hill Ave.. Lynnfield on Wednesday August 6 at 1:30 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
