Arthur Boudreau, Jr.

Arthur Boudreau, Jr., 79, of Reading and formerly of Wakefield died Tuesday, August 2 at his home.

Born in Arlington on December 28, 1931 he was the son of the late Arthur and Mary Grace (Doyle) Boudreau.

Mr. Boudreau was raised in Arlington, Cambridge and Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School, Class of 1947. He had been employed by Anheuser Busch, Goodyear Tire and lastly from American Airlines where he retired as a fleet manager. He had been a long time Wakefield resident residing on Butler Avenue and was an active member of St. Florence Church. He was an avid gardener. A veteran he served in Korea with the U.S. Army.

Mr. Boudreau was the husband of the late Theresa (Geraneo) Boudreau. He is survived by his son Paul Boudreau of Dallas, TX. He was the brother of the late William Boudreau and Gertrude Withrow. He is also survived by his former daughter-in-law Cheryl Ann Boudreau.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave. Wakefield at 10:00. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home Thursday 4-8pm. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
