Arthur Lynch
Arthur J. Lynch, 95, a Wakefield resident since 1967, died on Saturday August 11 at the Aberjona Nursing Home in Winchester.
Born in Malden on November 27, 1916 he was the son of the late William and Gaylie (Gifford) Lynch.
Mr. Lynch was a graduate of Bentley College and later received a Masters Degree from Northeastern University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of Sigma Epsilon Rho Honor Society. Mr. Lynch was an Army veteran having served in World War II. He was a retired comtroller from Shurfine Food Company. He had also worked for Raytheon, Sylvania and Transitron Electronics. He was a member at the Blue Bonnett Masonic Lodge of Austin TX.
Mr. Lynch was the loving father of Bruce Lynch & his wife Susan of Holliston, Deborah D. Zitola & her husband Ronald and Beverly Thompson & her husband Robert all of Wakefield. He was the brother of the late William Lynch and grandfather of Ryan, Keith, Kevin & Craig Lynch. Kristine & Andrew Zitola and Alison Thompson.
Funeral services were private.
