Astrid Carman

Astrid L. Carman-Ferreira, 43, of Reading formerly of Stoneham died on Wednesday, August 1 at the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston.

Born on July 23, 1969 she was the loving daughter of George V. Carman of Reading and Heidi Kmeczik-Carman of Weston.

Astrid was raised in Morristown, New York. She was a graduate of Brimmer & May High School in Newton and Colby Sawyer College. Astrid had been a Stoneham resident for 12 years. She enjoyed working and being a Co-Owner of Busy Bee Florist in Newton.

In addition to her parents, Astrid is survived by her beloved husband Nelson Ferreira.

A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church, 457 Main St, Stoneham on Saturday at 11am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
