Augusta Alfond

Augusta K. Alfond died suddenly June 25 at age 68. Born in Boston on February 10, 1942 the daughter of the late Ludwig & Augusta (Heiderich) Klett. Mrs. Alfond was raised in Wakefield and Lynnfield and graduated from Lynnfield High School, Class of 1960 and later from Burdette Business School of Boston. She had been a long time employee of the W.R. Grace Company of Lexington.

Mrs. Alfond is survived by her two sons, Matthew Alfond and his wife Michele of Ashby and Brian D. Alfond of Norfolk and also her daughter Elizabeth C. Alfond of St. Petersburgh, FL. She was the loving grandmother of Christopher, Katherine, Benjamin & Molly Rose Alfond. She was the former wife of the late Brian D. Alfond.

A graveside service will be held at the Lakeside Cemetery North Avenue Wakefield on Friday July 2 at 11:00. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hospice of the North Shore 75 Sylvan St. Suite B-102 Danvers, MA 01923.
