Barbara Blair of Peabody, a former resident of Lynnfield died Thursday June 30 at Brooksby Village of Peabody.

Born in Cambridge, January 11, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Albert and Alice (Lynch) Teeven.

Barbara was a graduate of St. John High School in Cambridge and the University of Lowell. She move to Lynnfield in 1955 before moving to Brooksby Village in Peabody. Barbara retired from teaching after many years at the Summer St., School in Lynnfield. She was a member of the Mass Teacher's Association, the Women's Club, and the Centre Club.

She was the wife of the late Richard E. Blair . She was the mother of Christina Blair of Memphis, TN, Rosalind Harrold and her husband Paul of Orland, FL, and Richard E. Blair and his wife Karen of Fremont, NH. She was the sister of the late Stanley Teeven. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Bryan, Nicole, Eric, and Kelly; as well as, one great grandson: Landon.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday from 4-8pm. Interment will be private.
