Barbara Destefano

Barbara (Bonney) DeStefano of Stoneham, formerly of Woburn and Somerville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 23.

Beloved wife of Anthony for 70 years. Devoted mother of Deb Iuliano and her husband Lou, Donna McCabe and her husband Dennis and Denis DeStefano. Loving grandmother (Nana) to Michelle Aitbourezque, Nicholas Iuliano and Alyssa Klein. Great Grandmother to Adam and Ayman Aitbourezque and Reagan and Eliza Klein. Sister to Francis McQuade, Ronald Bonney, and Mary Bucci. Sister-in-law to Helen Gangi. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Barbara was the oldest of 10 children, born to her mother Lucy Jeannette (Jordan) and her father Wilbur Coleman Bonney. Of her six sisters, she was predeceased by Loretta, Marilyn, Margaret, and Nancy and of her three brothers, she was predeceased by Michael and Richard.
Barbara had incredible talent as an artist and devoted all of her free time to special projects and crafts, which many still enjoy. She taught ceramics for over 40 years in Somerville, Woburn and continued to do so while in Florida during the winters.

Due to COVID-19, Funeral Services will be private.
