Barbara Hakioglu

Barbara E. Hakioglu, 52, of Wakefield died on Saturday, March 23 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born in South Plainfield, New Jersey on December 14, 1960 she was the daughter of Richard and Rose (McGerity) Hamilton of Wakefield.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is survived by her four children; William J. Petersen of Andover, Samantha R. Petersen of Nebraska, Allison M. Hakioglu and Michael L. Hakioglu both of Wakefield and her sister Ann Fournier of Rhome, Texas. She was predeceased by her sister Nancy Rautenberg.

A funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Thursday at 11am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8 pm.

Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
