Barbara Morgan

Barbara L . Morgan , 83, of Wakefield, died on Tuesday, October 28 at home after a brief illness.

Born in Melrose on February 8, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Edward A. and Margaret M. (Patterson) Fisher.

Her loving husband of 56 years, Hugh Morgan , died in 2002. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Margery Morgan Turner of Hancock, ME, formerly of Wakefield. She is also survived by her niece, Gail Peterson of Hancock, ME; her nephew, Hugh Turner and his wife Pat, and their children, Sasha and Valia, of Maryland; and the wife and children of her nephew, Thomas Turner (d. 2003), Kim, Tim and Katie Turner of Salem.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield on Thursday at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends may call at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield prior to the mass from 8:30 to 9:30 AM. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.
