Barbara Terry

Barbara M. Terry, 83, of Wakefield, died on Thursday, May 19 at the Epoch Senior Health Care Center of Melrose.

Born in East Boston on July 24, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Nichola and Caroline (D'Nofrio) Servodio.

Mrs. Terry was raised and educated in Malden. She had been a Wakefield resident since 1954. Mrs. Terry had worked at Converse Outlet in Malden and Mystic Industries in Wakefield. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Wakefield.

Mrs. Terry was the wife of the late Frederick T. Terry. She is survived by her two sons; Stephen F. Terry of Wakefield and David P. Terry and his wife Cheryl of Pelham, NH, her four grandchildren; Nicholas and his wife Lara Beth, Matthew and his wife Angela, Taryn and Leanne, her two great grandchildren; Aidan and Noah, her brother Joseph Servodio of Malden and her niece Nancy Sprague of Malden. Mrs. Terry is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Cosmo Servodio and her sister Lucy Brandano.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10:30am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
