Barry Tremblay

Barry D . Tremblay , 63, a Lynnfield resident for 21 years, died on Sunday, November 4 at the North Shore Medical Center – Union Hospital in Lynn.

Born in Salem on May 23, 1949 he was the son of Dorothea C. ( Barry ) Tremblay of Lynnfield and the late Leo E. Tremblay .

Barry was a graduate of Bishop Fenwick High School, Class of 1967 and Stonehill College, 1971. He earned his Master's Degree in accounting from Roosevelt University in Chicago. Barry was a retired financial officer for the Federal Government.

He was the husband of Nancy (Pellegrino) Tremblay . He was the father of Maria, Laura, John, Michael and Lea Tremblay , all of Lynnfield and the brother of Lois Halper of Brighton, Brian Tremblay of Georgetown, Gail Strzempek and Neal Tremblay , both of Lynnfield, Kevin Tremblay of Andover, Leah McDevitt of Meredith, NH, Janice Montgomery of Lyndonville, VT and Karen Watson of Stoneham.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St., Lynnfield, at 10 a.m. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Salem.
