Benjamen Calcavecchia

Benjamen Calcavecchia Jr., 59 of Key West, Florida formerly of Stoneham died on July 14 in Florida.

Born in Stoneham on February 14, 1950 he was the son of the late Benjamin and Helen (Parker) Calcavecchia.

Mr. Calcavecchia had been a resident of Key West, Florida for the past 15 years. He was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1969. Mr. Calcavecchia was an independent master carpenter and had enjoyed boating, scuba diving and the ocean. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps.

Mr. Calcavecchia is survived by his step mother Maria Calcavecchia of Stoneham, his seven brothers; Lee Danzy of Mashpee, Richard Calcavecchia of Washington, Joseph Calcavecchia and Stephen Calcavecchia both of Derry, NH, Paul Calcavecchia of Stoneham, Michael Calcavecchia of Gloucester and John Calcavecchia of Farmington, CT.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham on Tuesday the 18th at 5:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home in Stoneham.
