Bernard Riley

Bernard T . Riley , 87, a lifelong Stoneham resident died Tuesday, July 12 at Wakefield Care and Rehab.

Born in Winchester on January 29, 1924 he was the son of the late Thomas A. and Johanna A. (Bekkenhuis) Riley .

Mr. Riley was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1942 and was a retired service manager of Exide of Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Retired Men's Club of Wakefield, the Tennessee Squires Association of Lynchburg, Tennessee and the Humorist Society of America.

Mr. Riley is survived by his good friend Barbara Langill of Stoneham and her late husband Ray. He was the uncle and good friend of Raymond and Samuel Langill, Dale R. Riley and Barbara and Michael Buggy and their children Michael, Ashley and Coran. Brother of the late Wesley F. Riley .

His funeral will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Friday at 11am. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 8pm. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.
