Beverly Lorraine Moores, 91, of Wakefield, died on Sunday, February 13th at Brightview in Wakefield.
Born in Raynham on September 23, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Mary J. (Smith) Spousta, but was raised by the late Herman Spousta and Viola (Parris) Spousta.
Mrs. Moores was a graduate of Lynn English High School, Class of 1948 and Lynn Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1951. She had been a Wakefield resident since 1958. Mrs. Moores was a retired Registered Nurse and had worked at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital for over 50 years. She was a former member of the Mt Carmel Chapter Eastern Star, a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader. She loved nursing, dancing and helping others. She has a full and varied life.
Mrs. Moores was the wife of the late Robert E. Moores. She was the mother of Robert E. Moores, Jr., and his wife Deborah of Wakefield, Doug Moores and his wife Tricia of North Andover, Cathy McCarthy of Saugus and the late Lorraine Moores. She is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many cousins.
Her Funeral Service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 12 noon followed by an interment at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home prior to the service starting at 10am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
