Bogdan Czerniszewicz

Bogdan Czerniszewicz, 86, of Stoneham died on Thursday, November 4 at the Winchester Hospital.

Born in Poland on January 28, 1924 he was the son of the late Edward and Olga Czerniszewicz.

Mr. Czerniszewicz was educated in Poland and earned a degree in Engineering from Poly Technical School in Poland. He was a former Mechanical Engineer for Stone & Webster in Boston.

Mr. Czerniszewicz had been a Stoneham resident since 1968 and prior to that had lived in Montreal Canada. He was also a member of St. Patrick parish in Stoneham.

Mr. Czerniszewicz was the husband of Leokadia (Kotlarski) Czerniszewicz. He was the father of Grace Jakubowicz and her husband George of Reading, and Leslie Czerniszewicz of Toronto, Canada and the grandfather of Mark Jakubowicz of Burlington and Nicola Jakubowicz of Palm Beach, FL.

A Funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 73 Central St., Stoneham on Tuesday at 10 a.m. A period of visitation will be held in the McDonald Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Tuesday prior to the funeral 8:30 to 9:30am. Interment will be private.
