Boleslaw Slusarz, 92, of Marston Mills and Wakefield died on Tuesday, February 5 at the Beverly Hospital.

Born in Dlugoszyje, Poland on December 21, 1920 he was the son of the late Piotr and Waleria (Poplawski) Slusarz.

Boleslaw was raised and educated in Poland. He was a POW for 3 years in Germany during World War II, where he met his wife, Stefania. They moved to Boston in 1950. Boleslaw was a retired Designer for CE Maguire Engineering in Boston. He and Stefania enjoyed their retirement on the Cape.

Boleslaw was the husband of Stefania (Duczynska) Slusarz. He was the father of Andrew J. Slusarz and his wife Linda of Wakefield, Christopher Slusarz and his wife Paula of Lebanon, ME, and Mark Slusarz and his wife Cathy of Canton. He was the grandfather of Jeremy, Lynne, Stephanie, Gregory, and Katie and the great grandfather of Dean and Alanna.

His funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday at 12 noon. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Pl. West, 6th fl., Brookline, MA 02445-7226.
