Bruna Sapienza

Bruna Sapienza , age 83, of Wakefield died at her home on Monday, June 1.

Born in Grillsgnana, Italy January20, 1938 she was the daughter of the late Italo and Amelia (Puzer) Daris.

Bruna was raised in Italy before Immigrating to the United States at the age of 19. She had been a Wakefield resident since the 1970's. She was retired from the Garment Industry where she worked for many years as a Stitcher. In her spare time she enjoyed baking pastries and tending to her garden.

Bruna is survived by her sister Germana Daris of Florida, her nephew Lucio Cociani and his wife Yan of Stoneham, and her brother in-law Stellio Cociani of Wakefield. She was preceded in death by her brother John Daris.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield on Friday, June 4 at 11:30 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday prior to the mass from 10 to 11 a.m.

Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.
