Carl Dipietro, Jr.

Carl F . DiPietro, Jr . of Wakefield, age 87 died Friday July 3. Born in Chelsea on February 26, 1922 he was the son of the late Carl & Ernestine (Fuccillo) DiPietro. Mr. DiPietro was raised in Chelsea and had been a Wakefield resident since 1959. He was retired from the Ideal Concrete Company. He was a member of the Irish American Club of Malden and the Most Blessed Sacrament Church of Wakefield.

Mr. DiPietro is survived by his wife Emily M. (Carpenito). He was the father of Donna M. Hurton & husband Michael of Wakefield, Chip DiPietro and wife Ellen of No. Reading and Joseph B. DiPietro and wife Kimberly of Amesbury. He was the brother of Fran Maguire of Sandwich and the late Bernard "Bunny" and Pat DiPietro and Marie Hamlen. He was the grandfather of Michael & Brian Hurton and Peter, Christopher, Katie, Andrew, Charlie, Emma and Madelyn DiPietro. He is also survived by his 5 great grandchildren.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield Tuesday at 9AM followed by a funeral mass in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1155 Main St. Wakefield at 10:00. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Monday 4-8PM. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery.
