Carol Ann Parr of Andover formerly of Wakefield, passed away after a brief illness on March, 3 2013 at the age of 74.

She was born in Duxbury MA on June 3, 1938 to Virginia (Holden) and James Baker of Duxbury MA.

She is survived by her daughter Laura J. Delaney son-in-law Brian Delaney of Georgetown, son Peter J. Parr daughter-in-law Carolyn Rogers-Parr of North Andover and devoted daughter and best friend Marianne Patricia Parr of Andover. She was an adoring grandmother to Cameron and Owen Parr and great granddaughter Dakota Faith Delaney. She is also survived by her sister Sandra Trapp of Brockton, her Uncle Raymond Baker of Dorchester, cherished childhood friend Rose Gorham of Woburn and many nieces, nephews and friends who adored her. She was predeceased by loving husband William A. Parr and brothers James, Robert, Wayne, Edward and Leslie Baker all of the Massachusetts area. Carol spent the majority of her life in Wakefield in a home she shared with her husband and children. Her life was devoted to her family and revolved around her children and grandchildren.

A funeral will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Thursday 11am. Visitation for relatives and friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5-8pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.

Memorial contributions may be made to the MSPCA, 350 S Huntington Ave Boston, MA 02130 or to the KWVA Wounded Warrior Fund P.O. Box 51, Lewes, DE 19958.
