Carol A . Fisher , 72, a lifelong Wakefield resident, died on Tuesday, April 14 at her home in which she loved, surrounded by family.
Born in Lynn on August 26, 1947, she was the daughter of the late William and Aurora (Cresta) Devine.
Carol was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1965. She then went on to beauty school and found the gift of making people look beautiful on the outside as well as feeling beautiful on the inside. Even in her last days she thought often of her lifelong clients that had become friends. Carol also enjoyed walking the lake and going to Mike's Gym in Wakefield where she'd work out and catch up with the girls. Carol's true passion was spending time with her family, whether taking rides with her husband, shopping with her sisters, traveling to Naples in the winter or finding new adventures abroad, our annual summer Rockport reunion, babysitting her many grandchildren, or just simply sitting on the deck sipping a glass of wine enjoying life.
She is survived by her husband Michael D. Fisher , her daughter Kimberly Ryder and her husband Kevin of Wakefield, her son Michael Fisher Jr., and his wife Natalia of Salem, NH, her seven grandchildren; Amanda Brennan and her husband Daniel, Nicole England, Kenneth Fisher , Emma Ryder, Benjamin Ryder, Samuel Ryder and Shannon Fisher , her two great grandchildren; William and Sonoma Brennan, her brother William Devine and wife Patty of Methuen and her two sisters; Rita Malmsten and husband Charles of Kingston, NH and Judith Ellis and her husband Joel Bacon of Wethersfield, CT.
