Carolyn M . Cunha , 85, of Stoneham and a former resident of Wakefield died Thursday March 14, at Life Care Center of Stoneham.

Born in Melrose on December 26, 1927 she was the daughter of the late William and Marjorie (Dulong) Robinson.

Mrs. Cunha was raised in Wakefield and was a Wakefield High School graduate of 1946. She was a retired employee at her husband's gas station, Jesse's Water St. Gulf of Wakefield. She was also a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of St. Joseph Church.

Mrs. Cunha was the beloved wife of the late Jesse A. Cunha , Jr. She is the loving mother of Nanette D'Agnese of No. Reading, Janine Mulligan of Wakefield, Edward Cunha of MD, Lorelei Cunha of Stoneham & the late Jesse A. Cunha , III. She is the sister of Donald & Robert Robinson, Dorothy Callahan & the late William Robinson. She was the grandmother of William, Stephan, Paul, Jr. Christina, Jesse, IV, Jessica, Jess & Carolyn and the great grandmother of Kailyn.

Her funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield Friday at 11:00. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home Thursday 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade in Wakefield.
