Catherine Driscoll

Catherine T . Driscoll , age 90, of Melrose died Sunday, February 12 at the Bear Hill Nursing Center. Born in Waltham on February 24, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Philip and Mary (Duggan) Reynolds.

Catherine was raised in Cambridge and was a graduate of Cambridge Rindge and Latin School. She had been a longtime Malden resident before making her home in Melrose. She was an avid Red Sox fan; but above all, she was devoted to her family.

She was the wife of the late Daniel J. Driscoll . She was the mother of Rosemary Freeman and her late husband Robert of Reading, Robert Driscoll and his wife Judy of Saugus, Joan Russo of New Bedford, and the late Daniel R. Driscoll . She was the sister of Margaret Rooney of Malden. She is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by many siblings and one great grandchild.

Funeral Services will be private. Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, Stoneham.
