Catherine Hibbert

Catherine A . Hibbert , 67, of Myrtle Beach, SC and formerly of Wakefield and Medway, MA, died Monday, April 11 in Myrtle Beach.

Born on October 6, 1946 she was the daughter of Louis and Marion (Berrigan) O'Keefe.

Catherine was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1964. She later attended the Malden Nursing School and had worked as a nurse for 46 years. During her career she had worked in Milford Hospital, Framingham Hospital, and Massachusetts General Hospital. Most recently, she had retired from her position as a Supervisor from Home Care in Needham. She enjoyed golf and was a member of the Franklin Country Club. She also enjoyed vacationing and spending time with her family.

Catherine was the beloved wife of Kenneth L. Hibbert . She was the loving mother of Kenneth Hibbert , Jr., and his wife Lisa of Meredith, NH and Matthew Hibbert of Poultney VT. She was the grandmother of Jack, Trevor, Anna, and Mackenzie Hibbert and Jake and Hannah Hibbert .

Her funeral will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday, May 12 at 11 am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held prior to the service starting at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
